MOWA is thankful for the support of the Hal and Jean Glassen Memorial Foundation in the redesign of this website.

CLEAN WATERWAYS AWARD

The MOWA Clean Waterways Award recognizes and rewards organizations who demonstrate continuous, voluntary efforts to protect, preserve, and enhance the lakes, rivers, and streams of Michigan.

Joining MOWA in 2012 helped put my outdoor writing career on a faster track. All the sudden I was getting calls and emails from editors who said that they heard (from another MOWA member) that I was in the area they needed an assignment done in. I also love attending the conferences for the new knowledge I gain and the socialization with people that have similar interests.
